Grace Raposo Carvalho passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 3rd, 2025. Grace was born on February 8th, 1947, in São Miguel, Azores and has lived in North Providence, RI since 1971.
Grace and her loving husband, Lucindo Carvalho were married for a wonderful 52 years. She is survived by her son Eddie Carvalho, wife Kathryn and her daughter Sandy Ferraraccio and husband Vince. Grace was the most amazing and loving grandmother to her 3 grandchildren Kristin, Ryan and Dominick, they were her world, and she was loved immensely by them.
She is also survived by her sister and brothers, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law as well as all her nieces, nephews and cousins.
Grace was known for her strong will, unwavering determination and love and support for her family and community. She was a devout member to her church Saint Anthony’s in Pawtucket, RI. Grace loved to cook amazing meals, and she always made sure everyone left her house full and happy. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is wrapped in the arms of the Lord. We all love you and will miss you forever.
Funeral services will be held at Keefe Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, from 8:30am to 10:15am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am at Saint Anthony Church, 32 Lawn Ave, Pawtucket followed by a 12:30pm burial at Mount Saint Mary Cemetery. We would like to invite all for a Celebration of Life at 1:30pm in Saint Anthony’s Hall.
